Our CEO, Hector Klie, will be chairing the SPE Reservoir Simulation Conference that will take place in Galveston on April 10-11, 2019.
This conference is the most relevant one regarding latest technologies in reservoir simulation, history matching and field optimization. The conference sessions are Data Analytics, Discretization, High-Performance Computing, Gridding and Upscaling, Integrated Modeling, Geomechanics and Unconventional Resources, Forecasting and Optimization, Complex Processes, Data Assimilation, Linear and Nonlinear Solvers and, Reduced and Fast Simulation Methods. Additionally, four experts will be discussing the future trends in reservoir technologies in the Young Professional Reception.
Hector Klie will also be chairing a couple of sessions and given the talk “Data-Driven Discovery of Unconventional Shale Reservoir Dynamics” (SPE paper N. 193904, co-authored with Horacio Florez, Texas A&M. This paper proposes a deep modal decomposition framework to improved previous results observed with DMD for inferring the dynamics of flow and geomechanics on fractured systems.
